Ici on dit rarement bonjour, sl’i vous plaît ou merci.
Bref un établissement sur le déclin, imbibé de prétention et de suffisance, à l’image du patron très sûr de lui mais vieillissant et sale.
Aucun sursaut à prévoir avant une faillite certaine.

Tasty patiserrie and bread. Friendly staff and we enjoyed sitting round the big table in the kitchen soaking in the atmosphere and watching the staff at work.

The atmosphere feels just like a traditional bakery from the old days—warm, authentic and charming. The staff were friendly, welcoming and incredibly helpful, and they speak perfect English. The products are excellent and incredibly fresh. Simply top! I can’t recommend this boulangerie enough.. But pay attention on Sunday after 11 it's almost everything soldout.

Pour vous, chers futurs clients, vous trouverez des viennoiseries faites maison délicieuses et concernant les chocolatines, tresses et jésuites ÉNORMES. Jus de fruit pressé devant nos yeux, menu de petit déjeuner à 11€ bien copieux avec une confiture faites maison. Les pains sont magnifiques. Il y a de quoi se faire plaisir !
Une ambiance chaleureuse et rustique qui nous rappelle les petits déjeuners d’enfance chez nos grands parents à la campagne.
Venez en nombre pour continuer de faire prospérer ce commerce français et traditionnel. Vous serez accueillis avec bienveillance. Le petit plus ? Le lien crée avec cette famille qui n’hésite pas à nous conseiller ou à échanger avec nous. Un très gros coup de cœur à Bordeaux. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute. For you, dear future customers, you'll find delicious homemade pastries, and the chocolate croissants, braided loaves, and Jesuit rolls are HUGE. Freshly squeezed juice right before your eyes, a generous €11 breakfast menu with homemade jam. The breads are magnificent. There's plenty to enjoy! A warm and rustic atmosphere that reminds us of childhood breakfasts at our grandparents' house in the countryside. Please come in large numbers to help this traditional French business thrive. You will be welcomed with kindness. The extra touch? The connection created with this family who are always happy to offer advice and chat with us. A real gem in Bordeaux. We will definitely be back. I'd also like to give a special mention to their excellent homemade almond and hazelnut praline spread.

This is the BEST bakery I have ever been to in France. Next level GREAT bread, quiche, croissant, etc. They still use their own massive wood fired oven. Be prepared to take it to-go as there is only 1 large table behind the register with limited seats. It is WORTH it to go here!
